The Sacramento California LDS Temple, a temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, was built in 2006 and is located on a hill overlooking the beautiful Sierra Nevada Mountains and Lake Natoma. The architecture of the 19,500 sq. ft. church includes an exterior of light gray granite and a 131 ft. spire that is illuminated at night. The site is 46 acres and the church sits among beautiful oak trees, providing a serene setting. Located just 20 miles east of Sacramento, the church is close to several of the area’s finest reception venues and hotels.
