Sacramento Grand Ballroom Wedding | The Magic of the Ballroom
With 45-foot ceilings, beautiful chandeliers, and early 20th century architecture, the Sacramento Grand Ballroom continues to amaze guests year after year. From the outside of the old bank building, copper doors and strong columns create a classic feel. From the inside, sleek marble and shimmering gold decorate the historic venue—making a versatile space that’s perfect for every event, and every season.

The Ballroom is located in downtown Sacramento and managed by Event Architects. It is near many of the major hotels, and serves as a perfect setting for wedding ceremonies and receptions, corporate events, and all kinds of parties. With over 6,000 sq. ft. of space, it can accommodate 125-420 guests for a seated event and up to 600 guests for a cocktail-style event. For business meetings and corporate events, the Ballroom building has smaller rooms available.
“We really are able to sit down and figure out what our clients need,” says Anna Shah, who is the Dir. of Business Development for City Concierge and responsible for Event Architects’ marketing. “Our clients say that we are very good at customizing their events.”

Event Architects offers in-house rentals and its own catering division, or the option for clients to bring in their chosen vendors. According to Anna, the company gets a lot of feedback on its exceptional catering and most clients are happy to streamline the process and make the in-house choice. The diverse backgrounds and combined 45+ years of experience of Event Architects’ Executive Chef (Charlie Billo), its Sous Chef (Patrick Lee), and its Director of Catering (Jeremy White), allow the team to be very flexible with its menus.
One of the truly amazing aspects of the Ballroom is the 5th floor, where clients (especially brides and grooms) have indoor/outdoor access for photo options. There is an indoor greenhouse, a pathway through beautiful flowers and lush greenery, a custom-designed staircase, statues, and a gorgeous view of the city. A romantic setting for the couple…and a wedding photographer’s dream!

Whether Event Architects is providing full-service event planning on-site or minimal planning, the 11 event specialists and more than 50 support staff work to make every gathering a success!
