Brides and grooms adore the unique Jefferson Street Mansion in historic Benicia, California. The formal 1861 Civil War period mansion has been fully restored with empire style elegance. It has been featured on four Home and Garden TV episodes and the bridal changing room was selected for the cover of Better Homes and Gardens Bedroom & Bath edition (as one of three best decorated rooms in the country). There are many photographic opportunities on the grounds to capture award-winning wedding images.

The facility can easily accommodate both inside and outdoor weddings with multiple interior and exterior backdrops for photography. The mansion’s décor includes velvet draperies (with gold tassels) hanging from ceiling to floor; beautiful artwork in gold frames; and antiques and collectibles from the pre-civil war era. The banquet table features ornate carved walnut centerpieces, swaged ivory brocades with gold tassels, detailed statuary with ivy topiaries, and beautiful silver trays to display the entrees. Outside, a 1,000 square foot marquee covers the dance floor, bar, and dining areas. It is draped with fabric, gold tassels, and is lighted with crystal chandeliers.
